ARTES Junior Fellowships are designed to help promising young scholars with an MA degree to develop competitive PhD proposals on topics related to the research profile of the Amsterdam School for Regional, Transnational and European Studies (ARTES).
Besides individual guidance by the prospective supervisors in the school, the three month programme (September-December) programme offers dedicated skills workshops and reading groups by senior researcher at ARTES. Beyond that the school provides space for self-organised peer review groups, monitoring the progress of the fellows in writing up their proposals, prior to or in addition to the feedback by their individual supervisors. In so doing, ARTES offers an integration of the junior fellows into the interdisciplinary community of researchers under the institutional umbrella of school.
