LFFU was co-funded by WOTRO-NWO (2018-2022). The project is coordinated by Prof. Barbara Hogenboom and comprised of academic and non-academic partners. Its goal is to analyse, develop and share successful strategies and arguments on the ‘Leaving Fossil Fuels Underground’ narrative emerging from Africa and Latin America at multiple levels of governance. Carolina Valladares Pasquel’s doctoral research project “The politics of ideas for leaving fossil fuels underground. The cases of Ecuador and The Netherlands” is funded through LFFU.
