The project "White Islam: A New Religion for Europeans" investigates a transnational network of European converts to Islam, known as the Murabitun World Movement, which in the 1970s-2000s had a sizable followship in many countries, including the UK, Spain, Germany, Russia, South Africa, and Mexico. At the project's core are works produced by the Movement members that shed light on how the image of Islam evolved in conservative European thought in the last decades of the twentieth century.
